Yeah I think urs doesnt have bracket.. with bracket , Its much easier. You need to unclip cable from pedal.

1. First loosen the cable at the gearbox, There is a small slide and bracket that holds it to the gearbox just behind the starter. Once that is loose trace the cable all the way behind the intake manifold. You should see a rubber gromet holding it in place.

Finding the OEM one is the prob. VW agents dont have And Neither does Uitenhage. If anyone has an original cable brand new I will take it

Thanks for all the help guys,I’m gonna tackle this and let you all know how it goes.how would one adjust the clutch after the cable is installed. Also what all purpose lube would you recommend irfaan? I am defintly gonna get the oem cable as I was advised by many people.
