Now in a reverse pivot on the backswing your weight is on your front foot and on the downswing your weight falls back to the back foot….You then say you are way ahead of the ball…when are you way ahead of the ball…it can`t be on the downswing because in a reverse pivot you fall back…you wouldn be ahead of the ball…?
I think when a person reverse pivots isnt your left shoulder lower than your right at impact:? how can i not be ahead of the ball!
A lot of people that reverse pivot also try to bring the club back way too far, to the point the only way then can do that is to lean the upper body towards the ball. Focus on just doing half or 3/4 swing while keeping your head behind the ball.
Generally a reverse spine angle in the bs can cause a player to reverse pivot… But, a reverse pivot typically means the player’s weight is falling to the back foot in downswing….many players and even teachers have their own definition… The key is what are you doing??
Thanks for all your advice,,I am 5 10 and 260 and 51 years old and i can relate to bringing the club back to far. I will try a 3/4 swing as im sure it will feel more natural with my belly size to do that.
